Glossary
nouter’s words, in alphabetical order. Each one says what it is and where to go to learn more.
| Word | What it is |
|---|---|
| Agent | The AI that does the tasks you ask for in the chat: it reads, writes, creates documents and apps. See What nouter is. |
| Always approve | A rule so a type of action is applied without asking. It can be undone. See Always approve. |
| Approval | The permission you give before the agent does something with effects: sending an email, changing a record. Reading doesn’t ask for it. See Why it asks for your approval. |
| Auto-reload | The credit purchase that happens on its own when the balance gets low. See Usage and credits. |
| Blueprint | The starting point of a workspace: it keeps the code, not your data. See Blueprints. |
| Capabilities | What the agent can do across your company: search the web, read pages, approve on its own. Owners change them. See What the agent can do in your organization. |
| Connector | The link to a tool you already use (Google, Slack, GitHub, Salesforce and more). The agent acts with your own account. See How connectors work. |
| Credit | The unit of spending above the plan: 1 credit is 1 US dollar. The organization manages them. See Usage and credits. |
| Discoverable | A company domain that lets people with an email from it join on their own, or ask to join. See Asking to join the workspace. |
| Invitation link | A link with a code for people from your company’s domains to join. It lasts 90 days. See Managing members. |
| Limit | The monthly spending maximum, for the organization or for each person. See Usage and credits. |
| Marketplace | A collection of skills your company offers to everyone. See Add a marketplace. |
| MCP server | A service of your company added as one more connector. An admin adds it. See Adding custom MCP servers. |
| Organization | The owners’ section, where the workspace is managed. See The admin’s first week. |
| Outputs | Everything your workspaces produced: documents, slides, sheets, apps. See Finding what you created. |
| Owner | The role that manages the organization: sees Organization and decides members, connectors, models and plan. See Managing members. |
| Restricted data | Data not everyone can see. If a workspace read it, each action needs your approval by hand. See Restricted data. |
| Skill | An instruction that teaches the agent to do something your company’s way. See Use and create skills. |
| Tier | Each person’s plan: Standard or Premium. Premium includes more usage. See Plans and pricing. |
| Usage | What you use of your plan each month. It resets on the 1st. See Your monthly usage. |
| Workspace | Two things carry this name. Your company’s place in nouter, with its own address, where the team’s conversations, documents and apps live (Creating your workspace). And the working areas you see in the sidebar under Workspaces, each with its own conversation, documents and connections (Finding what you created). |
