The admin's first week

Getting nouter ready for your team takes a few hours spread over the week. Follow this order: each step supports the next one, and at the end your team signs in, connects its tools and uses the agent with no surprises in usage.

Before you invite anyone, do a real task. That way you know what you’ll ask them to do and what questions they’ll have. See Your first conversation and the A tour of the screen.

Anyone with an email from your company’s domains gets in by signing in. You can make newcomers wait for your approval, or make a domain not discoverable. It’s in Asking to join the workspace.

In Organization → Members you invite by email, upload a CSV or share the invitation link. Each invitation takes one seat of your plan. See Managing members.

The agent works with your company’s tools (Google, Slack, GitHub, Salesforce and more). For the services that use an app of your own, an admin loads it once and then each person connects their account. Start with Managing connectors and see how they work in How connectors work.

Decide which models can be used and which one a new chat starts with, in Which models your organization uses.

What the agent writes waits for the person’s approval. In Organization → Capabilities you turn web search, page reading and automatic approval on or off for the whole company. See What the agent can do in your organization and Why it asks for your approval.

The trial lasts 30 days. In Organization → Usage you see spending and set limits, and in Billing you move to a paid plan. See Usage and credits and Moving from the trial to a paid plan.

Your team signs in, has its tools connected, knows what it approves, and you can see what it consumes. When something doesn’t work, start with Frequently asked questions; any word you don’t know is in the Glossary.
