Finding what you created

Everything you do in nouter is saved in two places: Workspaces and Outputs.

A workspace is a working area with its own conversation, documents and connections. The sidebar shows your Favorites and your Recent workspaces; to see them all, open Workspaces or click Show all at the end of the list.

From each workspace’s menu (the three dots that appear on hover) you can:

  • Rename it.
  • Favorite it (or Unfavorite it).
  • Share it.
  • Mute notifications: for an hour, three hours, until the end of the day, one or three days, or Until I turn it back on. Meanwhile it doesn’t tell you when a task in that workspace finishes, but it does when it needs your permission; the workspace shows a crossed-out bell and the menu offers Unmute notifications.
  • Delete it, or Dismiss one that was shared with you.

The Workspaces page has a search box and a Create workspace button. What you change there (a favorite, a name, a deleted workspace) shows in the sidebar too, and the other way around.

Outputs gathers everything your workspaces produced — documents, slides, sheets, apps — even if you don’t remember which one you made them in.

  • You can see the list or the grid, with the view button.
  • Filter by type with the chips at the top, and search by name with the search box.
  • The scope selector lets you see Yours and shared, Created by you or Shared with you.
  • In each output’s menu you can Open, Open workspace, Rename or Remove it.
